Dr. Raman Kant Aggarwal is a graduate of PGIMS, Rohtak and a post graduate from Govt. Medical College Patiala. After gaining extensive experience in India for 10 years, he went for his fellowship at Katharinnen Hospital, Stuttgart, Germany (2003) in advanced orthopaedic reconstruction. He went to UK for specialised surgical training in the field of joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery in 2004 & got his training at Wrightington hospital, UK for Total hip and knee replacements. Post his training on hip & knee replacement; he did his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt hospital, Oswestry, UK.
He had been practicing total hip and knee replacement and arthroscopic surgeries of the knee and shoulder routinely in UK and came back to India in 2009 to Join Medanta – The Medicity. Dr Aggarwal has established the shoulder clinic at Medanta Bone & Joint Institute and specializes in performing key hole (Arthroscopic) surgery of the shoulder for dislocating shoulders, sports injuries, frozen shoulders and tears of the cuff. He also specializes in fixing shoulder joint replacements for many types of arthritis and fractures of the shoulder joint.
