ACL/ PCL Repair Surgery
ACL or PCL injuries occur due to trauma usually in a sport or fitness activity. The ligament gets stretched or tears either partially or completely when the foot is firmly planted and the knee locks, twists or pivots at the same time. This commonly occurs in sports like basketball, football, soccer, and gymnastics, where a sudden change in direction stresses and damages the ligament. Women are more prone to ACL and PCL injuries than men because of different anatomy.
Total Knee Replacement
A total knee replacement is a surgical procedure whereby the diseased knee joint is replaced with Titanium Implant. Total Knee Replacement is actually a surface replacement surgery, as only the top 8 mm covering of the knee is changed and not the entire knee as the name of the surgery suggests. The surgery is now being done at more than 100 centres in India with very good results.

Shoulder Surgery In India
The shoulder is one of the most diverse joints in the human body. It permits the arm to be rotated, elevated, and extended both forward and backward. This very flexibility means that it is also one of the most unstable joints, making it prone to injury and shoulder surgery. A ball-and-socket style joint, the shoulder consists of three bones. Shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body.It is a ball and socket joint that allows the arm to rotate in a circular fashion or to hinge out and up away from the body.
